Do (not) go there: Most Dangerous Tourist Atractions in the World
Like a wild beast, this world we live in is beautiful, dangerous and wild. It has some breathtaking places that can literally take your breath away. While some places in this world of ours are as safe as heaven, there are some exotic places that can be referred to as “deadly”, because of their dangerousness. But some humans, being adrenaline rush addictive, visit these places to take on the natural challenge that these wild places offer. And the “some” isn’t just a handful of risk-taking people, no. The amount goes off into hundreds. Below are listed some of the most dangerous, heart-stopping beautiful places of the world:
New Smyrna Beach, Florida – Most Dangerous Beach
This kite board seems to be powereed more by the sun than the wind. New Smyrna Beach, Florida
One of these places is known as the Most Dangerous Beach. But despite its given name, thousands of people still visit it every day, to bask in the surf and sun in the waters of Atlantic, even though they are all aware that this beach is the world’s leading area for shark attacks. This place’s actual name is New Smyrna Beach, and is located in Florida. It is known that most of the people who have swum in those waters have come within 10 feet of a shark, yet that isn’t stopping anybody from visiting this place! In 2008, there had been around 21 shark encounters (not fatal) right in this spot.
Death Road (Camino de las Yungas), Bolivia
The North Yungas Road (alternatively known as Grove’s Road, Coroico Road, Camino de las Yungas, El Camino de la Muerte, Road of Death or Death Road)
Another ridiculously risky place in this world is the “Death Road”. Tourists visit this place known as the most dangerous road in the world. The tour is on a 60km road, in between La Paz and Coroico, and this road had taken many people’s lives. This road in some places is only as wide as 10 feet and doesn’t even have any railings to stop you from falling down.
Villarrica volcano, Chille
The Villarica Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in Chile, but it is not erupting. It actually is one of only five volcanoes worldwide known to have an active lava lake within its crater.
Yet another dangerous place is the bungee jumping into Chile’s Villarrica volcano. Even though it’s rather crazy to do so, it does provide you a heavy adrenaline rush. The volcano is very active, and has white-hot lava boiling inside it, where you can go towards 213 meters of the lava.
Mount Huashan, China Walkway
One more dangerous place is walking on the plank on Mount Huashan, China. The tourists precariously walk on a plank which is thousands of feet in the air. The plank is 12 inch wide and it tied to the cliff behind it. Obviously, families can’t go together in such a place. The scary part is, there are no handrails on the plank, if you want to stay safe, then you have to buy a safety harness.
The only advice that can be given to these tourists who visit it is, “Watch your step!” And of course, it’s probably a good idea to get a life insurance before you go to any of these destinations… So, these are some of the most dangerous places of the world, and they’re not it. There are many other sites, just as scary, just as wonderful, and just as dangerous! So, if you want to get a rush, or know what it feels like to have your heart stop a moment, you don’t need any outer space, you’ve got these places right here, in your world.
